Entry Guidelines

Deadline

All entries must be received by 23:59 GMT on Friday 30 June 2023. No further extensions will be permitted.

The cost of entering is £199+VAT per entry. This fee includes the total cost of handling your entry and the full judging process. All finalists and winners will receive a certificate to use on future marketing material. Winners will also receive a trophy. The cost of these is included in the entry fee. The entry fee does not include entry to the Awards Ceremony.

Award entry criteria

The qualifying period for entries is 1 January 2022 – 31 April 2023. All submissions should provide evidence of success, or a product within the market during this period.

The judges

We are delighted to bring together a stellar panel of judges from across the spectrum of the Open Banking eco-system who either specialise in a particular field, or who have experience and insight into different aspects of the industry.

The events team at Open Banking Expo will ensure that there are no conflicts of interest during the judging process, and all judges will sign an NDA to ensure no information is shared outside of the judging process.
The Judges will review and score all the qualifying entries and decide the overall winner.

The judges’ decisions are final and there will be no opportunity for appeal, discussion or correspondence.

The judges will rely exclusively on the information provided by the award entrant and not by any prior knowledge that they may have.

The judges will be reviewing each entry against the criteria set out, taking into account how each one stands out from the rest of the market. Entries will also be judged on how clear and concise the entry is, using real numbers, not just percentages.

The Open Banking Pioneer categories are special Judges Awards. Entries can be accepted for these categories, but the judges will put forward organisations and individuals that they deem worthy of the Award and take a vote. As such, no shortlist for these categories will be announced.
