Open Finance is transforming financial services at pace but what are the risks of innovating without ensuring the data at the heart of Open Finance is complete, accurate and without biases? Does better quality data deliver better products and customer outcomes as well as competitive advantage? This panel of Open Finance experts will discuss whether maximising the benefits of Open Finance for consumers and SMEs is dependent on ensuring that the quality of the data used is robust. Hosted by Open51, the panel will also explore how best to eradicate the gender data gap and data biases so that Open FInance can benefit all consumers.

She was awarded “Innovator of the Year” at the 2018 Women in Credit Awards, and “Leading Woman of Auto and Equipment Finance” at the 2019 IAFN Awards.

Emma will lead the next stage of the company’s exciting development and joins from Equifax, where she spent nearly four years as CEO of AccountScore. She has spent over 16 years working in senior roles in the consumer finance and fintech sector, consistently delivering product led growth and successful data driven business models.

She is the CEO of Moneyhub, the award-winning Open Banking, Open Finance, and Open Data platform that transforms data into personalised digital experiences and initiates payments. She joined Moneyhub following a distinguished career at Willis Towers Watson and at fintech eValue.
Sam is passionate about the power of technology to improve financial wellbeing for all. She is a non-executive director at the Charities Aid Foundation Bank, a founding member of Open51, a group transforming financial services and building the new digital economy, and an advisory board member at impact investment platform The Big Exchange. She also serves on several industry panels.
Sam is an avid horse rider and regular eventer, and treasures time with her husband and horses.

Matt has 10 years experience in small business financial services working in both large institutions like Euler Hermes and fintechs like Marketinvoice and Crowdcube.

Co-founder Open 51Amy is the founder and CEO of CommsAlchemist, an integrated communications consultancy that specialises in corporate reputation management. With over 20 years’ global experience, Amy has advised blue-chip brands, successful start-ups and SMEs on the design and delivery of effective communications and engagement strategies that support growth and deliver brand value.
From 2018 – 2020 she was Head of Stakeholder Engagement at the Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE) where she helped establish and expand the world’s largest open banking ecosystem. She is also co-founder of Open51, the association of women delivering open finance and the burgeoning open data economy.
Amy helps clients navigate and take advantage of opportunities arising from new, open data technologies transforming the financial services sector and beyond. She works with fintechs and financial services companies as well as regulators, government and other stakeholders to help ensure this transformation is inclusive and sustainable.
