Adrian has extensive experience in delivering solutions in the Corporate and on line markets.  A payments specialist, previous roles include Head of UK Change Management leading the design and execution of payment products and services.

Adrian is a senior practitioner in the Payments centre of excellence for NatWest, specialising in innovation and leading the Payments relationship with the Corporate Bank, Private Bank & Government Banking Services. In this role Adrian has a wealth of experience in working in partnership with Fintechs developing API enabled propositions.

With over 20 years’ experience in the payments sector, Ed is responsible for driving the strategic development and execution of the payments business segment for the EMEA line of business. Having worked at leading IT software and service companies for projects in over 30 countries, Ed has held a number of global strategy, product and client management roles with PwC, First Data Corporation, Pepper Consultants and Hewlett-Packard. Ed is passionate about helping financial institutions and corporates to better power and protect their payments and financial messaging.

Nathalie Oestmann has extensive international experience across the payments industry working with financial services, retail merchants and payment processors with a track record and passion for bringing innovation to fruition through ecosystem collaboration.

Currently, Nathalie is Chief Operating Officer at Curve OS Ltd. Curve is a banking platform that connects multiple debit and credit cards into just one smart card, all controlled with an easy-to-use app. Curve believes the future isn’t a better bank, but a better banking experience enabling customers with a simple way to spend, send, see, and save their money.

She is also a Non-Executive Board Member at Pay.UK.  Pay.UK is the UK’s leading retail payments authority, tasked with delivering the new payments infrastructure for BACS, Faster Payments and Cheques.

Prior to Curve, Nathalie worked at IDEMIA as Senior Vice President of Global Innovation Strategy, Marketing, Partnerships and M&A for the Financial Institutions Business Unit.  With close to €3bn in revenues and more than 14,000 employees, IDEMIA is a world leader in digital security & identification technologies.

As GM and Head of Samsung Pay Europe at Samsung Electronics from 2015 through 2017, Nathalie is credited with building the organization and launching Samsung Pay across 6 European countries in 18 months.

She has also worked for 15 years at American Express in a variety of roles. As VP of Global Product Marketing, she drove product development and marketing for 3^rd party bank partners in 55 markets and built solutions and adapted systems to better function across the diverse geographies.

Over 20 years’ experience in the Payment Industry having worked previously for PwC, The FSA and RBS. As a consultant for 10 years, my team helped major transaction banks to prevent, review and resolve high profile failures and complex issues related to payments. Set up and ran the payment operations function for PwC as part of the Lehman Administration Team, releasing cash and assets to Lehman clients in financial distress. Also advised clients on how to innovate while operating a safe, resilient and efficient payment infrastructure.

Current Role & Responsibilities
As Head of Innovation for Payments I am responsible for modernising HSBC’s global payment infrastructure. Delivering against a 5 year technology investment strategy to drive out Operations and Technology efficiencies and build back end technology that supports new, innovative products and services. I also co-lead HSBC’s ISO migration strategy.
