Entries open for the Open Banking Expo Awards 2026 as new categories added

Entries are now open for the Open Banking Expo Awards 2026, recognising the organisations and individuals delivering tangible progress across Open Banking and Open Finance.
Now in its sixth year, the Awards celebrate the work that is actively moving the industry forward, across Open Banking, Open Finance, payments and Smart Data, from product launches and scaled implementations to measurable customer and business outcomes.

Kelly Stanley, co-founder and director of Open Banking Expo, said: “Open Banking and Open Finance are no longer future concepts, they are being delivered at scale across markets globally.
“The conversation has moved on. The focus now is on what’s working, what’s scaling, and what’s driving real outcomes for customers and businesses.”
“The Awards are designed to recognise that progress, highlighting the organisations and individuals who are moving the industry forward through execution, not just intent,” she added.
“If you’ve delivered something meaningful, this is where it should be recognised.”
This year’s categories have been expanded to reflect where the market is heading, with new additions including Best Use of AI in Open Banking or Open Finance, Best Open Banking Infrastructure, Innovation of the Year, and Industry Leader of the Year.
Entries are open to financial institutions, fintechs, technology providers, and individuals who have launched or developed products, services, or initiatives within the qualifying period of 1 January 2025 to 30 April 2026.
The early deadline is 19 June, with organisations able to secure a 25% discount by submitting their intention to enter ahead of this date.
The shortlist will be announced on 2 September, with winners revealed at the Open Banking Expo Awards ceremony on 13 October.
