Open Banking Expo won the award for Best 365 Community 2025 at The EN Indy Awards, which champions the independent exhibition sector, at a ceremony in London on 17 October.
The Best 365 Community, sponsored by MCM, celebrates the organisers who support their event’s community 365 days of the year.
The award recognises Open Banking Expo as an always-on community hub delivering debates, podcasts, news, and its Women in Open Banking initiative, to 19,000-plus industry professionals.
Open Banking Expo serves a global community spanning banks, fintechs, regulators, government, and technology providers.
To ensure our audience keeps pace with policy shifts, market innovation, and the evolving regulatory landscape, Open Banking Expo creates and delivers year-round content, keeping our community connected, informed, and engaged in shaping the future of financial services.
Open Banking Expo’s community has grown significantly year on year, with our LinkedIn following having increased to more than 19,000 industry professionals, fuelled by regular newsletters and thought leadership.
Meanwhile, our global support network Women in Open Banking has expanded to 600-plus global members with over 60 active mentorships, helping to shape careers and increase representation.
Kelly Stanley, co-founder and operations director of Open Banking Expo (pictured), said: “We’re thrilled to have won in the Best 365 Community category at The Indy Awards, which celebrates organisations that build and nurture their communities all year round, not just at their events.
“We won because of the way we’ve built and sustained the Open Banking Expo community through live panel debates, podcasts, news, and weekly LinkedIn newsletters, alongside our Women in Open Banking initiative. It’s a recognition of how much we do to keep our audiences informed, connected, and inspired 365 days a year.”
Stanley added: “By being present year-round, we’ve created more than an event series. We’ve built a global platform that informs, connects, and empowers the Open Banking and Open Finance ecosystem every single day.”
