Trustly has partnered with Sabre Direct Pay, part of global travel technology company Sabre Corporation, to bring its Pay by Bank solution to more travel agencies across the UK and Europe.
Through Sabre Direct Pay, Trustly will be able to offer its account-to-account payment solution to a broad network of travel retailers via Sabre’s ‘Travel Marketplace platform’, which provides travel retailers with access to multi-source content, retailing tools, and integrated financial service solutions.
The move marks a major step in Trustly’s growth strategy, enabling it to reach more businesses in the travel sector and offer an alternative to traditional card payments. The partnership is expected to accelerate adoption of Pay by Bank at a time when demand for more secure and efficient payment options is on the rise.

The partnership follows a sharp increase in consumer appetite for Pay by Bank, with UK holiday spend using the method up 230% year-on-year in January.
Sabre Direct Pay combines partnerships with financial services to help travel retailers improve cash flow and simplify transactions, and offer flexible, secure transaction options across channels for travel agencies, hotel and airlines.
