Open Banking Expo UK & Europe – Attendee Terms & Conditions
All registrations are made subject to the terms and conditions of Borough Bench Media Ltd – organiser of Open Banking Expo events – as set out below.
1. Payment Terms
All paid passes must be paid for at the time of booking by Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank or by credit or debit card.
Attendance is only confirmed once payment is received in full.
2. Registration Fee
Registration includes access to all conference sessions, networking opportunities, use of the event app, and access to presentations post-event (subject to speaker approval and availability).
Lunch and refreshments are provided for paid ticket holders only.
Complimentary pass holders are not entitled to lunch or catering unless this is explicitly included as part of a sponsorship, exhibition or partnership package.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meal options will be available for eligible attendees. Attendees with specific dietary requirements should indicate these at the time of registration.
Additional charges may apply for specialist dietary requirements that require externally sourced catering (for example kosher meals). Please contact us at hello@openbankingexpo.com to arrange.
3. Catering
Catering is provided by the event venue or approved catering suppliers. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary requirements submitted in advance, Borough Bench Media Ltd cannot guarantee availability of specific meal options where dietary requests are submitted after registration deadlines.
Catering quantities and service arrangements are managed by the venue and catering provider. Catering is prepared based on anticipated attendance and service schedules.
Borough Bench Media Ltd shall not be liable for shortages, delays or changes to catering provision beyond its reasonable control.
4. Event Accommodation
Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee.
5. Travel
Travel is not included. Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
Borough Bench Media Ltd is not liable for delays or non-attendance due to transportation issues, including strikes, cancellations, weather disruption or other circumstances outside the organiser’s reasonable control.
6. Event Changes
Borough Bench Media Ltd reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event programme, speakers, venue, format or schedule where necessary.
Such changes shall not entitle attendees to a refund.
If the event is postponed or rescheduled, Borough Bench Media Ltd reserves the right to transfer registrations to the new event date.
7. Cancellations and Substitutions
All attendee bookings are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your pass to a colleague by contacting us at hello@openbankingexpo.com prior to the event.
8. Complimentary Passes
Complimentary passes may be available for Open Banking Expo events.
Complimentary access is offered in two ways:
Staff passes (partners, sponsors and exhibitors)
Staff passes are allocated as part of a sponsorship, exhibition or partnership package
and are intended for employees of the participating organisation working at, supporting or representing the organisation at the Event.
Staff passes:
- must be used by employees of the participating organisation
- may not be transferred to external guests, clients or prospects without prior approval from the organiser
- provide standard attendee access only.
The organiser reserves the right to withdraw or reallocate staff passes used outside their intended purpose.
Guest Passes (invited attendees)
Guest passes may be issued to invited attendees, including clients, speakers, members of the Open Banking ecosystem, or individuals invited by the organiser or participating partners.
Guest passes remain subject to the Event’s attendee eligibility criteria and may not be used by sponsor-eligible organisations where paid attendee tickets or partnership packages apply.
Sponsor-eligible organisations include organisations that sell products or services into the Open Banking and Open Finance ecosystem, including vendors, consultants, professional services firms, agencies, Open Banking platform providers and other solution providers.
These organisations may be required to purchase a paid attendee ticket or participate via an exhibitor or sponsorship package.
Guest passes:
- may not be distributed publicly via marketing campaigns, promotional giveaways, newsletters, or social media without the organiser’s prior written approval
- may not be used by employees of participating sponsors, partners or exhibitors, unless expressly approved by the organiser
- may not be used for employees of sponsor-eligible organisations without prior approval from the organiser
- remain subject to the Event’s attendee eligibility criteria.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, withdraw passes or require a paid pass to be purchased where complimentary access has been used outside the intended purpose of the allocation.
9. Data Privacy and Sponsor Interaction
Borough Bench Media Ltd will collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
By registering for the event:
- You consent to receiving essential event communications.
- Your data will be shared with our official event app provider to enable networking, scheduling and access to sessions. You may manage your profile visibility directly via the platform.
- If you attend a sponsor session, roundtable, show feature, or interact with a sponsor (for example via the event app), you consent to your contact details being shared with that sponsor for relevant post-event follow-up.
- You will be given the option at registration to opt in or out of receiving further communications from sponsors and partners after the event.
Personal data will not be sold to third parties.
10. Photography and Filming
The event may be photographed or filmed for promotional and editorial purposes.
By attending the event, you grant Borough Bench Media Ltd the right to use images or recordings in which you may appear for marketing, promotional or editorial purposes.
11. Recording and Broadcast Restrictions
Attendees may not photograph, record, livestream or broadcast conference sessions, presentations or discussions without the prior written permission of Borough Bench Media Ltd.
This restriction does not apply to recordings made by the official event organisers, authorised media partners, or accredited press who have received prior approval from the organiser.
Unauthorised recording, livestreaming or distribution of event content may result in removal from the event without refund.
12. Attendee Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully throughout the event.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate, without refund.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
