Embedded finance integrator AAZZUR has deployed Salt Edge’s Open Banking technology and compliance solution.

As a result, AAZZUR’s clients will benefit from Salt Edge’s financial API platform, as well as its PSD2 compliance solution.

AAZZUR chose to integrate Salt Edge’s technology into its embedded finance ecosystem to broaden its Open Banking offering and to provide clients with improved financial insights, risk management capabilities and financial data security.

“I am thrilled about our collaboration with Salt Edge and the integration of their exceptional Open Banking gateway into our smart finance ecosystem,” said Philipp Buschmann, chief executive officer of AAZZUR.

“Salt Edge is a company that has started in aggregation but has taken things to the next level.”

He added: “Salt Edge impresses on growth, resilience and ingenuity. We are truly excited about joining forces and deploying their solutions to our customer base.”

Salt Edge’s chief growth officer Alina Beleuta said: “Here at Salt Edge, we’re thrilled to join forces with AAZZUR, an innovative platform for embedded finance, both sharing a common goal to build a world where better financial wellbeing is effortless.

“We double our forces to bring innovations to the financial landscape through seamless Open Banking solutions.”

She added: “Now, more banks and EMIs will become Open Banking compliant while having, at the core, a perfect match between customer safety and convenience.”

Earlier this year, Dutch banking group ING Bank chose Salt Edge to enable a new range of Open Banking use cases for the SME segments, from various industries, corporate, and individual end-users.

Salt Edge also began working with Hong Kong-based Shanghai Commercial Bank to enable it to become PSD2-compliant.
