OpenBankingExpo, ,
03 Jun 2025

Key speakers from across Canada’s Open Banking and Open Finance ecosystem will take to the stage at Open Banking Expo Canada to debate and discuss implementation and interoperability, the economic potential of Open Data, real-time payments, digital identity, fraud prevention and the role of AI in financial innovation.

More than 80 speakers from Symcor, Ozone API, National Bank of Canada, GFT, JP Morgan, Fintechs Canada, Plaid, Interac, and Scotiabank, among others, will share insight across two content stages.

The event, taking place on June 17, is the only one in Canada dedicated exclusively to Open Banking and Open Finance.

Saba Shariff, senior vice president, chief strategy, product and innovation officer at Symcor, will deliver the Opening Keynote in which she’ll explore the “dual pillars” of Open Banking’s potential – building trust and driving innovation – as well as drawing from successful models worldwide to examine how Open Banking can reshape financial services.
