Open Banking Expo shortlisted for leading Conference and Events Award

We’re excited to share that Open Banking Expo UK & Europe has been named a finalist in the Conference & Events Awards 2025, in the category of Best Development of an Existing Conference / Event (up to 1,200 Attendees).

The shortlisting recognises the bold decision to move the 2024 edition of the event into a significantly larger exhibition hall at the Business Design Centre – a development that transformed the delegate experience and enabled the most ambitious version of the Expo to date.

This expansion delivered a 17% increase in unique attendees and a 25% rise in those attending both days, reflecting the value placed on the content and networking opportunities. With the introduction of the Open Finance Show and Smart Data Show, plus a packed agenda across multiple stages, the event brought together more industry leaders, regulators, and innovators than ever before.

Such is the significance of the event, it has become a platform for global regulators to convene key working groups and policy discussions – reinforcing its role in shaping the future of Open Banking.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday 27 June at Evolution, Battersea Park.
