Global financial services tech provider FintechOS and financial API platform Salt Edge have formed a strategic partnership to offer secure technology services to joint clients within the banking industry.

Through the partnership, financial institutions, banks, and electronic money institutions (EMIs) already using FintechOS’ high productivity fintech infrastructure (HPFI) will be able to improve their compliance with PSD2, as well as other global Open Banking standards.

It builds on a partnership that began last year in the European market and aims to expand to other geographies.

Two joint European customers are already using Salt Edge’s data aggregation, as integrated into FintechOS’ core banking solution, to provide a “hyper-personalised banking experience” for end-users.

Paula Costea, vice president of product management, Lighthouse Digital Banking at FintechOS, said: “Partnering with Salt Edge, clients already using FintechOS’ digital banking and insurance vertical solutions will enjoy access to an even broader range of possibilities when it comes to personalised products and services available via seamless experiences.”

Salt Edge product manager Alexandr Lobaciov added that the partnership means more banks and EMIs will be able to deliver innovative solutions that have “at the core, a perfect match between customer safety and convenience”.
