David joined Mastercard at the start of 2018 to develop and implement the strategy for Open Banking. This has primarily involved leading the product development and launch of Open Banking solutions in Europe. These solutions now power a number of the leading Open Banking Applications across Europe.

Prior to Mastercard, David spent over twenty years in financial services at NatWest and Lloyds Bank in a variety of digital and multi-channel leadership roles, with a common theme of bringing innovative ideas to life.

Having been deeply involved in the development of internet banking, eCommerce payments and mobile banking, David is excited to be contributing to Open Banking – the next major transformation of financial services.
