George Dunning

George Dunning is COO and Co-founder of data intelligence fintech Bud Financial (Bud). George founded Bud alongside his school friend, Edward Maslaveckas, in 2015. Under his leadership, Bud has grown to some 120 people, and secured more than $100m in investment.

George comes from a software engineering background and, as the CTO of Bud at its inception, he helped build and deliver the first versions of the original Bud platform.

After four years of successfully building out the Product and Engineering departments for Bud, George moved into a COO position post-series A, in order to oversee the overall execution and delivery of the company across all verticals.

Since becoming COO, George has overseen all of Bud’s key product launches and client deliveries, culminating in landing investments from the likes of TDR and TransUnion.
