Lea Siering

Dr Lea Maria Siering is the Managing Director of Token GmbH – a payments specialist based in Berlin and London. Token is the leading open banking enabler for the payments industry and offers the best market coverage in Europe using its best in class A2A infrastructure that is powered by open banking and built for the payments industry.

Lea is also a supervisory board member, a member of the Digital Finance Forum at the German federal ministry of finance and the chairwoman on the Bitkom board for digital banking and fintech. Previously, she was CEO of the 2° Investing Initiative (2DII), Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at finleap connect GmbH, a payment service provider that is also licensed, partner at the international law firm Taylor Wessing in the area of Regulatory/Capital Markets and General Counsel at CrossLend GmbH. She is the author of numerous publications, in particular on regulatory topics as well as related to digitalisation, and co-edits the magazine “Recht Digital”, published by Beck Verlag, as well as editor of a commentary on the German Investment Act. With more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector, she is particularly committed to diverse corporate governance and sustainability. She is still admitted to the bar.
