Mat Megens

Mat started his career as a hardware engineer in the telecoms industry before transitioning to finance with fixed income roles at Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley and then consulting for IFC/World Bank Group. His experience covers technology, capital markets, supply chain finance, investment banking, venture capital and private equity. He started HyperJar to give people a tool for easier and safer ways to spend their money well and avoid unnecessary debt, whilst also providing better data and finance solutions for retailers. Mat has an electrical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada as well as an MBA from NYU-Stern.
