Stephanie Duhaime

Stephanie Duhaime has served nearly 18 years with the Government of Canada, including two years at the Privy Council Office and more than a decade at Global Affairs Canada where she held senior level positions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Turkey. Before joining FCAC in Fall 2022, she recently she served as Director of Policy, Planning and Coordination at the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario, where she helped lead the organization’s transition to a standalone agency and mobilized its support in delivering critical COVID-19 economic relief and recovery support to the region’s businesses and organizations. She also led economic policy and program development on files such as innovation, women and black entrepreneurship, and advancing Indigenous economic reconciliation.

Stephanie grew up in Sudbury and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Western University. She is the recipient of the Canadian Foreign Service Officer Award, the Government of Canada’s Operational Service Medal and the General Service Medal.
