Tim Johnson is an experienced product and strategy director who was appointed as Head of Strategy at Tyl and Payit by NatWest earlier this year. Tim has 20 years’ experience in strategic development and delivery across international financial services and FinTech organisations. He is recognised as a payments, cards and open banking expert.
Prior to his current role, Tim spent 5 years providing strategy consultancy and product development for open banking businesses, including the OBIE in the UK, and globally with FinTech start-up Raidiam. Tim has a proven track record of delivering projects ranging from international acquiring strategies, M&A and partnerships. He has spent over a decade working with Barclaycard’s issuing, co-brand partnerships and merchant acquiring divisions.
