Bottomline, a global provider of fintech solutions for business payments, has formed a partnership with Sweden-based Knowit to bring “innovative connectivity” to financial institutions in the Nordic region.

The strategic partnership combines Knowit’s “strong local presence and systems integration expertise in the Nordic market” with Bottomline’s “wide range of capabilities and international experience in payments, messaging and connectivity”, according to a press statement.

Bottomline offers a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based API-enabled platform to enable both banks and non-banking financial institutions to process payments, securities and financial messaging.

“We are excited to partner with Bottomline to bring innovative connectivity to banks, non-banking financial institutions, and payment service providers (PSPs) in the Nordic market,” said Rune Ivarsflaten, head of Dploy, a fintech solution from Knowit.

Espen Vindegg, partner integration manager at Knowit, added: “Our role as Bottomline’s integration partner in the Nordics will allow us to provide our customers with seamless integration of Bottomline’s solutions and services.

“This combination provides our customers with the best of both worlds – global capabilities and local understanding.”
