UK-based marketplace payment platform Ryft has partnered with food delivery business easyFood, which is part of the easyGroup, to simplify the onboarding process for new franchise partners.

Ryft is a unified payment platform with a solution that processes payments and then automatically diverts funds to merchants and sub-merchants the following working day.

easyFood is using Ryft’s payment infrastructure to bring new franchise partners onto its system more rapidly, by signing them up to the service “in minutes”.

Through the partnership, Ryft has been able to help easyFood reduce partner churn and to bring many more restaurants onto its platform, with thousands more joining in the coming months.

In addition, Ryft has helped to create a high-converting payment flow for easyFood’s end-users which, since implementation, has resulted in an increase in checkout conversions of 7%.

Ryft co-founder and chief executive officer Sadra Hosseini said: “Ryft is allowing easyFood to usher in a new era of cost-effective and fair food delivery for restaurants and takeaways, without having to worry about the regulatory burdens of that undertaking.

“We’re enabling this exciting business to onboard new partners seamlessly as it looks to disrupt the hospitality industry and allow venues to keep more of the value of the order compared to their competitors.”

Charanjit S. Purewal, easyFood’s chief operating officer added: “We have meticulously crafted our solution to be near perfection for the hospitality sector while offering a smooth and cost-effective experience for our valued customers.”

easyFood and Ryft confirmed they will continue to work together to “explore future opportunities” in the partnership.
