TrueLayer, Europe’s fastest growing payments network, today (2 September) announced its official launch in Poland, adding Zloty as its third supported currency (alongside GBP and EUR). Poland becomes TrueLayer’s 22nd live market, reinforcing its leadership as the leading Pay by Bank provider in Europe.
Poland, home to 37 million people and a fast-growing digital economy, is one of Europe’s most advanced payments markets. BLIK has become a popular solution for pay-ins, but the market still lacks an instant pay-out and refund experience – creating a major gap for businesses and their customers. TrueLayer is entering the market to solve this challenge.
Kris Lembke, head of product, merchant banking at TrueLayer, said: “Poland is one of Europe’s most innovative payment markets. Despite the success of BLIK, the missing piece to date has been instant withdrawals and refunds.
“TrueLayer is solving that gap. By launching instant pay-outs, we’re giving Polish businesses and consumers a faster, safer and lower-cost way to move money instantly.”
From today, Polish businesses can sign up to TrueLayer’s instant pay-outs product. TrueLayer’s entry into the market will enable businesses to benefit from:
- Instant settlement: Receive funds instantly, improving cash flow and efficiency.
- Reduced costs: Bypass expensive card networks and interchange fees.
- Increased success rates: Reduce failures with automatic retries and rerouting
- Real-time reconciliation: Stay on top of payments with instant updates.
The launch in Poland is the latest milestone in a period of significant growth for TrueLayer, which continues to expand its network and product suite across Europe.
