Embedded banking provider Weavr has announced the completion of its leadership team with three new hires.

The London-based fintech has appointed Dave Joyce as chief operating officer, who has previously held leadership roles at Crealogix, Ixaris and Visa.

Weavr has named Daniel Greiller as chief commercial officer, who joins from Feedzai where he was running APAC sales.

In his new role, Greiller will oversee all commercial activities, including sales, account management, and marketing.

Regina Lau has been appointed chief financial officer at Weavr, having held finance and strategy roles at American Express, Global Collect and Ingenico across the US, APAC, and Europe.

The new additions join Weavr following a recent £7 million seed funding announcement, the proceeds of which will help accelerate its international growth and product development.

Weavr co-founder Alex Mifsud said: “I’m humbled yet thrilled to welcome a host of new talent to the Weavr leadership team. They each share a passion and wealth of experience within the financial sector, having previously worked at leading financial services companies including Visa, American Express, and Feedzai.”

Mifsud added: “It was the appetite to be at the forefront of the embedded banking revolution that brought each of these hires to Weavr.

“This highly experienced team means that we can move faster to build the embedded banking platform that innovators in non-financial sectors can rely on to deliver.”
