UK-based Open Banking payments fintech Yaspa has made two senior appointments to support its growth in North America, hiring Peter Kula as US sales lead and Jackson Esoda as US senior solutions manager.

The two new hires will be based at Yaspa’s recently established US office in Atlanta, Georgia.

Meanwhile, head of product, Max Collinge, will permanently relocate to the company’s Atlanta office from its London headquarters, where he will assume the new title of vice president of product, with responsibility for all product innovation, development, and delivery for Yaspa in North America.

In his new role, Esoda – who joins Yaspa from Trustly – will focus on establishing the technical pre-sales function in the US, while providing Open Finance and Pay by Bank subject matter expertise to the broader team.

Kula has experience in real-money, social, and skill-based gaming, including ongoing collaborations with Voltage and Distinction Agency. He has also previously worked at Amazon, Sightline Payments, and Caesars.

He brings to the US team his understanding of igaming business operations, partnerships, and scalability across different market structures and regulatory environments.

James Neville, chief executive officer of Yaspa, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Peter and Jackson to Yaspa to help build out the team and accelerate the growth of the business in the United States.

“Both bring incredible industry and product expertise with them, providing invaluable support to our US entity and the company as a whole.”

He added: “With the relocation of Max Collinge, our new vice president of product, to our Atlanta office, we feel confident that we have the best foundations possible to service the US igaming market and beyond.”

In July 2025, Yaspa secured $12 million in a funding round led by Discerning Capital to fund its US expansion.

Yaspa also continued to grow in the UK last year, opening a new tech hub in Leeds, where it has located a team of senior software engineers led by head of engineering David Turner.
