Levelling the playing field for Europe’s fintechs
In this episode, Open Banking Expo’s head of content Ellie Duncan is joined by Ghela Boskovich, head of Europe at the Financial Data and Technology Association (FDATA), to explain how FDATA ensures that the voice of European fintechs is well represented and why it’s important for the lobbying group’s members to have a “fair and competitive” playing field so that they can fulfil the mandate of PSD2. She also discusses what needs to happen in the UK to ensure the momentum continues once the OBIE’s roadmap comes to an end, and why “coordination and collaboration” is so crucial in thinking about the next phase of Open Banking to Open Finance.
