Michelle Beyo
Michelle Beyo is the CEO and founder of Finavator, an award-winning five-year-old consultancy focused on accelerating Open Finance, inclusive innovation, and collaboration in the financial ecosystem. With over 20 years of experience in payments, fintech, and digital strategy, she is known for driving impactful change across sectors – from financial institutions to emerging fintechs.
Since 2022, Michelle has served as president of the Open Finance Network of Canada (OFNC) and has been a board member since 2020. Under her leadership, OFNC has expanded the national conversation beyond Open Banking to Open Finance, hosting quarterly industry events that foster alignment, insight-sharing, and industry growth. She also champions gender equity, leading an initiative for a 50/50 gender-balanced board.
Michelle is a TEDx speaker, the creator of the Finavator Master Class on the future of finance course, and an active board advisor to fintech leaders including Tillo and Wellesley Hills Financial. Her thought leadership spans global stages – from Money 20/20 to Fintech Meetup – and she frequently appears on podcasts, panels, and webinars, bringing energy, vision, and deep expertise to every platform.
A Women in Payments Rise Star award winner and Money 20/20 RiseUp alum from 2019, Michelle continues to be a powerful advocate for financial inclusion and innovation.
