As the race for true Fintech innovation hots up, Open Banking Expo and FinTech North have announced an agreement to partner in 2019 with the aim of sharing and promoting innovation and best practice in the financial services technology market.
FinTech North delivers a programme of events across the north to support and grow the regional Fintech economy.
The collaboration will see the brands working together on a number of event and media platforms as they continue to trailblaze niche topics within technology and financial services for a global community and work with international policy makers and governmental departments.
Adam Cox, Co-founder, Open Banking Expo commented:
“The partnership in 2018 was a very successful one and collaborating in 2019 makes perfect sense. As we continue to evolve the Open Banking Expo portfolio, we’re delighted to be working with the FinTech North team to help us achieve this. FinTech North offers a great regional platform in the UK via which to exchange insight on technology innovation within financial services and as such aligns perfectly with our global community.”
Julian Wells, Director of FinTech North, said of the partnership:
“We are delighted to be partnering with Open Banking Expo again in 2019 to help promote our respective events and other initiatives across the UK. The launch of the Open Banking Expo last November turned out to be perfect timing for Adam and the team as it was the hottest topic in the financial services industry at the time, a trend which shows no sign of disappearing any time soon.”
The FinTech North event platform has delivered over 30 events since inception in 2016, bringing together over 3,000 delegates from across the globe and joins forces with Open Banking Expo at a time where the event will be live in Amsterdam, Canada and London alongside the latest launch of Open Banking Expo Magazine.
