Open Banking Expo is pleased to reveal the companies that have been shortlisted in this year’s Open Banking Expo Awards 2022, in association with Comma.

The shortlist, which can be viewed in full here, follows hours of deliberation by a stellar panel of judges, representing a cross-section of the global Open Banking ecosystem.

Shortlisted companies and individuals will be in with a chance of winning across categories including Best App – Consumer and Commercial, Best Use of Open Banking Data and Best Open Finance Innovation.

There are three new categories in this year’s Awards: Best Use of Open Banking by a Non-Financial Services Company, Best Anti-Fraud Solution and Best Open Banking Payments Project.

Kelly Stanley, co-founder at Open Banking Expo commented ‘We can’t wait to welcome the industry to London on 7 July as we celebrate the advancements and innovation across the Open Banking, Open Finance and Open Payments ecosystem. With entries spanning the UK and Europe, Canada, Australia and the LatAm regions we are delighted with the quality of entries. Open Banking has the ability to positively impact the consumers and businesses it serves, and it shone through in the submissions. We are grateful to the judgers for their expertise in scoring the entries and we look forward to announcing the winners soon.’

The judging, which took place in May, was co-chaired by David Parker, chief executive officer of Polymath Consulting and Dr Ruth Wandhofer, global fintech influencer and chair of the Payment Systems Regulator Panel.

The Awards ceremony is due to take place on 7 July from 6pm BST at the Riverbank Park Plaza in London. Tickets can be purchased here.
