Nuvei chosen by Radisson Hotel Group as payments partner

Canadian fintech Nuvei has been chosen by international hospitality operator Radisson Hotel Group to provide payments services.

In selecting Nuvei as its payments partner, Radisson Hotel Group will have access to the fintech’s connection to more than 600 local and alternative payment methods, accessible through a single integration.

As a result, the hospitality operator’s global customers will be able to make payments “seamlessly”, using their preferred methods.

Radisson Hotel Group joins Virgin Atlantic, Air Transat, Westjet, Scott Dunn, LastMinute.com, Sabre and Selina Hospitality in choosing Nuvei as a preferred payments partner.

Nuvei announced its integration on Sabre’s reservation platforms for the travel and hospitality industries last month.

Philippe de Roose, senior vice president, tax and treasury at Radisson Hotel Group said the group had recently upgraded its digital experience and operations, beginning with the launch of its integrated hospitality technology platform in 2018.

“Evolving our online payments capabilities is the next critical step on our journey,” de Roose said.

The hospitality group has nine hotel brands and more than 1,100 hotels in operation and under development in EMEA and APAC.

Nuvei recently received investment from Hollywood actor and producer Ryan Reynolds.
